What is the main difference between convection,conduction,and radiation?

The main difference between conduction convection, and radiation is the its transferred.Convection is transferred only when you are touching the object that is hot.For example,when you touch a hot pan or pot that is conduction.Convection is transffered when heat circulates.For example when you are in a pool and the water is warm at the top,but cold at the bottom that is convection.Radiation is transffered when you stand near somethig hot and even though your not touching it you can still feel the heat.For example,when you stand near a fire you can still feel the heat from it.

The blogging is helpfull,every bit of writinghelps a person to write better.Blogs sometimes can be very exciting depending on the topic we have to blog about.Honestly sometimes you can get tired of doing them,but you just have to come around to it.They are not hard to produce,and they still help...

Millau Viaduct!

The bridge was made by Michel Virloeux and Norman Foster.The bridge is famous because it is the tallest bridge in the world.The bridge was built in France in 2004.The bridge is a cable stayed bridge,that has the length of 1,125 ft.The Millau bridge is taller than the Eifle Tower and only 37 meters shorter than the Empire State building.

I think that we should also have an out print on what the test will be like.Alot students get confused on a test or quiz, because it looks different sometimes.The way the question is given may be different from the way we were told to study it.Ithink this will cause the percentage of student succeeding to increase undoubtfully.

Glowing Pickle!!!

The video,the Glowing pickle was about how a man connected two wires to a pickle,and it glowed with a reddish color.We all know that pickles are cucumbers, that was salted and put in vinegar. Sodium is an element that is made so that it is easier for electrical currents to flow. This causes the glow of the pickle. The science in this video,was a physical reaction. I learned that salt can help electrical devices.

Open Ended Response!

If the orbital speed of a newly discovered asteroid was found to be 18.61 kilometers per second,between which two planets would the aseroids orbit be located.I think the asteroid would be between mars and jupiter.The asteroids orbit fis exactly between juppiter and mars.We all know that the placing of a asteroid is always between the orbits of two other planets.That is my conclusion of where the asteroid would be put

My Game Idea

My game idea is to make a cooking game were you have to make a whole new recipe that is helping the environment.There will be judges that give you scores based on your performance.Also the wil test the food to if its tasty or if it helps the community.The judges will actually give you commens that are honest.these comments could be very nice or very harsh.

My Favorite Game!

I honestly dont play many games,but when im in the mood I like to play "Fasion Designer" on "CandyStand".The game is made to determine the level of style you have.In the game you can actually pick out your own clothes and outfits.The game can help us because judges give you real advice and their honest opinion on the coordination of the out fit and make up you chose.Getting some of the harsh advice they give can prepare you to not take things so hard when a teacher is trying to give you advice,let alone help you.To play this game simply go to www.candystand.com,then to all games.

My Blogs!

My first blog wasnt done very well to be honest,because it seemed as if though i rushed through it.Although my second one was a little too short I think it was good and I think my opinion was very understandable.My fifth blog was accurate and I believe I did very well on it.I had well expressed ideas and my answers were complete.So for that reason my favorite blog was the fifth one I wrote.In order to prevent having metioker responses I shouldnt rush through them and I should try to have lengthier responses.

Mixture

Jennifer didnt create much.She only created a physical mixture which is when it can be seperated.If you simply poor the water into a paper towel, it will act like a filter.The salt or anything else will not go through, but the water will.This proves it can be seperated.So therefor it is a physical mixture.

Design Squad

The Design squad was challenged to transform a tricycle and a wagon into a drag racing car.They had to make the wagon and tricycle move on its own by attaching power drills to them.They also had to make sure the weight of the driver was as light as possible so the dragracer would'nt slow down too much.The blue team used the strategy of using a spool connected to both set of wheels so the speed would accelerate up.The two teams worked well together because everyone listened to eachothers ideas.They also worked well together by keeping possitive attitudes majority of the time.
If I were in design squad I wouldve went with the blue teams idea.Although I would've used a telephone wire because of the tecture.The only reason they lost was because the rope was tangling.The drag racer was just about to speed up when the rope was tangled.The type of rope was the only hold up.I learned from this episode that different types of string and rope function in two different ways.

Noble Gases of Group18

The noble gases of group 18 dont form chemical bonds, because other than Helium, group 18 has 8 valences.Having 8 valences is very rare.Atoms that have 8 elctrons on the outer leveldont form chemical bonds.If that energy level has 8 valence electrons it is considered to be full.A atom that has less than 8 valences more likely to form bonds.All atoms form bonds by gaining,losing,and sharing elctrons.

Gas Has Alot More Volume!

If a bucket of water was 18 millileters in volume and it was turned into gas what would the volume tnen be.The volume would then be 18000 millileters.To find the volume of a gas all you have to do is multiply the volume of the water by 1000.A gas would have more volume because it spreads around everything,it doesnt leave a crack empty even if it seems like it.

Science

To me science is difficult and hard to follow, but it is so much fun after a while.You would be suprised to know how much you can learn in a day.You dont have to go to school to learn something that is science,you can sit right in your backyard and find lots of exciting things....DONT GET THE WRONG IDEA THOUGH!

Statue of Libery

I believe the Statue of Liberty changed colors because of the oxygen.Oxygen and coppper as we all know are both chemicals,so when they were around each other for so long it caused a chemical reaction.This is known as reactivity to oxygen.
